OSCAR: A free Rigged Character for Blender 3D **************************************************** (c) Shane Sheils @ Dwarfed Films, Ireland www.dwarfedfilms@eircom.net www.officehoursfilm.blogspot.com ****************************************** Slight adjustments Made to OSCAR. (Version OSCAR_03) ******************************************* *I made "penis_CNTRL", "balls_L" and "balls_R" children of "spine_lwr" (instead of "torso_CNTRL") *I allowed "knee-TARGET_R" and "knee-TARGET_L" bones to influence the leg movement. *Some of the Shape Keys made some of the vertices of the characters back and feet move. This is a mistake caused after I made a loopcut to the OSCAR character's shoulders after I had added shape keys - they were a bit crap anyway! I fixed these problems, so now the sape keys should work fine for you. Please note: I tried to keep the armature as simple as possible for learners - yet retaining a wide level of movement. Other things I kinda rushed were the hands and fingers - they look a little like skinny sausages and deform weirdly. Hey, that's what happens when you try and bash out a rigged character quickly for Christmas! Again, I hope you find some use for OSCAR and of course add/change/improve on him :) Shane PS: If you open OSCAR in an experimental build of Blender (such as Jahka's particle version from blenderbuilds), you will get weird deforming of the skeleton. Most of this can be fixed by changing bone's Loc/Rot settings in pose mode to "local" axis.
